The School District No. 36 (Surrey) eIEP System has been collaboratively designed, with input from numerous stakeholder groups: Curriculum and Instructional Services, Information Management Services, Senior Management, Student Support Services, and Specialist Teachers. Representatives from these various stakeholder groups and departments worked closely with the application design/development team at Habanero Consulting Group.

The eIEP System has several features that will assist teachers when developing individual education plans, such as:

Web based access

Student Information System (SIS) compatibility

Separate IEP "type" templates

Imbedded "exemplar" goals, objectives, strategies and resources per IEP "type"

Progress Reporting features

Ultimately, students will benefit from the eIEP System, which has been designed by teachers...for teachers, as a "best practice" teaching tool.
